Cookie policy
Last updated 24 July 2026
The short version
SpeakerHQ uses essential cookies only. No advertising cookies, no marketing trackers, no third-party analytics. Because everything we set is strictly necessary to run the service, no cookie consent banner is required.
What we set
Sign-in session cookies: set by our authentication provider (Supabase) when a speaker signs in, so they stay signed in securely. Removed on sign-out. Strictly necessary.
QR attribution tag: if you arrive via a speaker’s QR code or shared link, we store the code’s tag in your browser’s local storage so that, if you send an enquiry, the speaker knows which event or placement it came from. It contains no personal information, identifies nobody, and is deleted when you submit the enquiry. First party, functional.
What we do not do
No Google Analytics or equivalent. No advertising or retargeting pixels. No cross-site tracking. No selling or sharing of browsing data.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential ones will prevent sign-in from working; public pages remain fully usable.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookie, this page will say so first and a consent choice will be introduced at the same time.
